Rotation Records Announces Sessions, Panelists, and Key Details for its 2018 Music Industry Night scheduled for Wednesday June 6th at Cavanaugh's River Deck in Philadelphia

This year’s event is sure to top the previous three with its move to the city, improved agenda, sponsors, and FREE breakout sessions.

Platinum Sponsor, Yamaha Music USA is sure to make a big impact when attendees arrive to find the Yamaha Pavilion is filled with Instruments and Yamaha Music gear on display and being played by Yamaha Artists! Attendees can check out some of the latest from Yamaha up and close! Yamaha is also hiring, there will be Yamaha Executives on-site, bring your resumes!

The primary purpose of this event is the Networking, where anyone in music can easily identify others in the business using color coded badges that tells everyone what aspect of the music business they are part of, This allows people to effectively make new connections with those they wish to meet. The next purpose is to offer up expert advice and guidance to people in the business at any level of their journey. This years sessions have expanded and matured significantly from prior years. Rotation has created conference style sessions and experts at a FREE event!! Their mission is to diminish the number of companies and events that exploit the artist.. This type of event is surely proof of that.

Breakout Sessions: This year, The Rotation team and its selected experts have put together 3 amazing learning sessions that attendees can take full advantage of. The Breakout session experience is branded; “The Evolution of Your Music”. The sessions will follow the lifecycle of Music from songwriting to marketing to live performances, and everything in between. Come learn from experts on best practices and ask them questions.

Session 1: Stage 1 - Creating Incredible Music (Songwriters Roundtable)

Come listen to award-winning and published Songwriters, Producers and Engineers about how they write great songs, also discuss and ask questions about how best to write, record and complete your works. What are the best practices in writing, recording and producing music? Listen to those that have been successful in doing it.

Session 2: Stage 2 - I have a great song/record, What’s next? (The Business of Music)

In this session, you can pick the brains of a record executive, an entertainment attorney, a Publicist, Social Media and Business Management experts that can help you with all of the areas that most artists and musicians tend to struggle; What to do once you have the record and need to get it out to the market. There are so many important areas that are critical to a records release, distribution and licensing, this session will answer many of these questions.

Session 3: Stage 3 - Getting On Stage and Performing Live

Performing live and doing it correctly is one of the most critical and most successful ways to get your music out. In this session, talk to venue owners, promoters, booking agents and accomplished stage acts to learn what works best to get you booked on the best stages and events. Learn how to set yourself apart, and what makes a great show. Learn how to catch the eye of those that control the venues and bookings.
